Thanksgiving Round Up

Ahh holidays. Believe it or not, this is the one time of year I don't really look forward to. Maybe it is because I should have been an only child. There are times when I feel terrible because Michael is an only child, then I am brought back to reality and realize he is better off, without a sibling. I am sure that Michael will find himself a great wife and not mind running me to doctors apps when I am old. hehehe
Here is the short of it. We (minus Chris, he had his family Turkey day at the same time as mine) headed to my sisters. There we met up with her in laws and ate, chatted and were merry. Michael was able to enjoy himself since the in laws brought the other two nephews (14 & 11). The boys stayed up stairs most of the night playing Guitar Hero on PS2, except for the brief moment that they went outside and the outdoor deck railing broke. Well my &!% sister would like for me to incur the cost of fixing it. It broke because it was old and weathered. Michael and the boys did nothing to purposely break the railing. Why not also have the in laws incur the costs as well? I don't mean to sound bitter, however I believe if it was not done on purpose and you opt to host a gathering in which people below 18yrs will be in attendance, that is a risk you run. I need not mention that a year ago one of the other nephews broke a key off of my brother in laws lap top and that incident was simply fluffed off. My sister has been married 12 yrs no children (thank goodness) Maybe they need to learn a little something before they reproduce.
*So happy thanks &%! giving, well as far as my sister is concerned.

Besides my sister being her usual self, Thanksgiving as a whole was great. It was nice Michael was able to actually interact with people his own age and it was nice seeing my sisters in laws. I just wish I was able to make it to Chris' side of the family. Maybe for X-mas!!!
