Tall Oak Challenge 8-30-08

On Saturday Chris, Tom and I headed out to Jeff City, MO for a Mtb race. The weather was a little warm, but great for the race. The race was held at Binder Lake and the race was held right on Binder Lake, so we had the awesome breeze off the lake to keep us cool as well as our canopy/tent. In hopes that Chris will update his blog for the first time in over a month, I will keep this short and only post a couple of photos with hopes that Chris will use the video and other pictures for his blog.

Both Chris and Tom raced a perfect race. They came in 1st! Way to go guys!

My roll was very important. I kept the resting racer informed of what we discussed and what was eaten by them, so they could use that to their advantage to keep the team strong. As well as doing that I also kept time and had my spot where I would stand and give a heads up to the waiting racer so it meant less time waiting and more time riding.

Pfoodman and Eric Schuck - we pretty much followed them out of STL to Jeff City.
