Michael's Christmas Band Concert

I was in for a treat and didn't even know it. The concert this year, was totally awesome. Michael and the entire band for that matter have come a long way in a short period of time. From 6 grade till now, 8th grade. Michael started with Jazz band opening for the 7th grade then it was the 7th grade bands program. From there the Jazz band played again to open for the 8th grade band. That is when I received my gift if you will. Michael had a solo in the 8th grade band. Boy oh boy, was he excellent!!!! I wish I had video, however I was borrowing Chris' camera and it is on a odd setting, so I was unable to take video. I do hope to get in contact with the band teacher, and hopefully get a DVD. I'll keep my fingers crossed. For being at the concert from 5:30-8:20 I would say was great. It is just a long time to sit.
