Crown Royal Cookies



Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup crown royal or crown royal maple
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
  • (mini chocolate chips optional)

Directions

    Let the butter & eggs sit out to room temperature (about 45 minutes)

    Preheat oven to 375.

    Cream butter, cocoa & sugar with hand mixer on low.

    On low speed, add one egg at a time.

    Add vanilla.

    Mix in the Crown.

    Add in flour, baking soda & salt slowly until combined.

    If you choose, stir in desired amount of chocolate chips by hand.

    Place 1 Tbs sized balls 2 inches apart on cookie sheet. Bake for 10 minutes, remove from oven, let sit on cookie sheet for 2 minutes then transfer to wire cooling rack.

    Wash the cookie sheet under luke-warm water to cool and clean (or just use a new cookie sheet) before baking the next batch. Repeat until all the batter is used.
