Crock Pot Tomato Basil Chicken



Ingredients
  • 4 Fresh Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts {approx. 3 – 3.5 lbs.}
  • 1 box Penne Noodles, cooked al dente
  • 1 jar Classico Tomato & Basil Pasta Sauce {16 oz.} – 2 cups or 480 mL
  • 1 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 6 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1½ tsp. Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp. Oregano
  • 1 tsp. Basil
  • ½ tsp. Rosemary
Instructions
  1. Place chicken in Crockpot and cook on HIGH for 3 hours or LOW for 6 hours {covered}
  2. After 3 hours on HIGH or 6 hours on LOW, drain juices from Crock Pot.
  3. In small mixing bowl, combine Tomato & Basil Sauce, minced Garlic, Onion Powder, Oregano, Basil, and Rosemary and stir well.
  4. Pour sauce mixture over chicken, sprinkle with Mozzarella, Cover with lid, and Cook for 30 more minutes on HIGH, or until done.
  5. While chicken is finishing cooking prepare the Pasta, cooked al dente, then serve each chicken breast with a side of hot pasta. ENJOY!!
