Crock Pot Strawberry Dump Cake



INGREDIENTS

  • 1(21 ounce) can strawberry pie filling
  • 1(18 1/4 ounce) package strawberry cake mix
  • 12cup melted butter (1 stick) or12 cup margarine (1 stick)
  • 12cup chopped black walnut (I used more)
  • Cool Whip

DIRECTIONS

  1. Place pie filling in crock pot.
  2. Combine dry cake mix and butter thoroughly, using fingers if necessary. The mixture will be crumbly. Sprinkle over the filling.
  3. Sprinkle walnuts evenly over the top.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 2 to 3 hours. (Mine took the full 3 hours.).
  5. Serve in bowls topped with a dollop of Cool Whip
